Who You’ll Be Talking With
The Zoom session will include:
- Tai – The artist and host, leading the conversation while drawing.
- Adrienne – The show’s producer, co-host, and Tai’s wife. She represents the audience perspective.
The Flow of the Episode
- Tai will kick things off with a brief intro chat (about 2 minutes).
- A 45-minute timer will then start. During that time, Tai will be drawing and chatting with you.
- The discussion will be organic and free-flowing with prepared questions by Tai, with the intent of allowing conversation to evolve naturally.
- The goal is to have fun and to give our audience a real sense of who you are and what you’re working on. If there’s anything specific you want to talk about or promote, bring it up anytime!
Segments That Might Come Up
You may encounter a few recurring surprises throughout the conversation, such as:
- “Mayo or Miracle Whip from Mr. Dibbs” – A surreal phone-in question from our friend Mr. Dibbs.
- Followed by a list of rapid fire "Pick Your Poison" questions from Tai.
- “Sage’s Social Media Lurk” – A comment or question from Sage Francis, usually pulled from your social media… but not always.
- “The Dish” – Tai wraps up the episode with three prompts about your first, worst, and favorite.
- Followed by closing words and opportunity to plug any upcoming projects and your contact information.
Recording Details
- Including intro and wrap-up, total recording time shouldn’t exceed 1.5 hours.
- If you have any time restrictions, let Tai know at the start of the session.
Tech & Connection Tips
- Best option: Laptop or computer with a decent mic.
- Still works: Cell phone (please turn it horizontally for a better view).
- Please avoid: AirPod/earbud mics or AI-generated background filters... they tend to mess with the visual clarity and audio quality.
